The Smart Glass research project was created during a class at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. The class, ECE497, was a special topics class focusing on 32-bit embedded Linux microcontrollers, in this specific case, the BeagleBone Black.

The project is still in progress, with user hand tracking being researched with mmWave and lower cost IR cameras than the Kinect. This will allow the user to manipulate objects on the screen with just their hand.
