The Pop Popper was an independent research project created by Hazen Hamather and Luke Kuza under the supervision of Dr. Charles Joenathan and Dr. Yoder. The project was classified as a graduate-level independent study for Hazen, and a 400 level physics research project for Luke.

Further work is being completed on the project to adjust the physics and facial/hand recognition of the target, as well as a better model to safely place the can in the user’s hand.
